Actresses Jasmine Guy of stage and screen fame, Melissa McBride of "The Walking Dead," Maria Howell of "Revolution" and "Breaking Bad" producers Melissa Bernstein and Mark Johnson are among the industry professionals being honored by the Women In Film & Television Atlanta at its upcoming Anniversary Gala Awards.
Also scheduled to be honored: the Alliance Theatre and, um, me.

The awards gala will be held at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 20 in the Thomas Murphy Ballroom at the Georgia World Congress Center. The event features Neo-soul band Vintage Nation, country crooner Julie Gribble, the Georgia State University Faculty Jazz Trio, contemporary dance company Project 7 Contemporary Dance Company and improv troupe Village Theatre.
Tickets are $125 for WIFTA members and $165 for non-members. Proceeds will benefit programming, networking opportunities and professional resources in support of women in film and television throughout the year. See this link for details.
