Slates for Sarah
This slate from the hit show "Parks and Recreation" is among the many paying tribute to the late Sarah Jones.

The filmmaking community from across the country has come together in a virtual way to pay tribute to Sarah Jones, who died last week while filming near Jesup, about an hour south of Savannah

"Slates for Sarah" is a tribute effort that's popped up in the days following the beloved 27-year-old's untimely passing. Jones, a South Carolina native who had been living in Atlanta, was working on a Savannah-based film crew last week when she was struck and killed by a train.

Authoritities are investigating and there will surely be many more revelations in this ongoing story. For now, take a look at how filmmakers honor one of their own.

Here is the page set up in her memory.
