Tyler Perry grew up in Louisiana but has lived in Atlanta since 1990. His Tyler Perry Studios is located in the city, has made a career of playing Madea and other roles in self-written and directed comedies such as "Madea Goes to Jail" and "Why Did I Get Married?"

Tyler Perry, Atlanta's hardest working man in show business, plans to film a project in Rome, Ga. according to a recent casting call looking for extras. POLICE OFFICERS: Men & Women, all ethnicities. ages 25-50. CANNOT HAVE A BEARD OR GOATEE. Mustaches are ok.  Must have black cop type pants and black sneakers.
