Oprah, Tyler Perry use iconic characters to promote OWN alliance By Rodney Ho
To promote Tyler Perry's first two OWN series, he dressed up as Madea and paired with Oprah Winfrey , reprising her "Color Purple" character for a teaser 60-second commercial.
Madea is lost, looking for "OWN."
This teaser was shot in Atlanta and began airing tonight.
Perry's drama “The Haves and the Have Nots” (May 28) and comedy “Love Thy Neighbor” (May 29) are in production in Atlanta right now.
