"The Real Housewives of Atlanta' reunion, part three, aired on Bravo April 21 and Kenya was, of course, "gone with the wind fabulous." Or something like that.

Kenya Moore has come up with the ultimate non-defense defense when attacked: just stand up, twirl around and say, 'I'm gone with the wind fabulous!"

Imagine how that would work if say, she were an attorney in a courtroom, or trying to gain support for a bill in Congress or arguing over a parking ticket. Of course, it would look ridiculous.

But Kenya thinks ridiculous is fabulous. She thinks casting aspersions against someone who wronged her is fabulous, She thinks she's just truly, truly, 150% fabulous.

So there!

That's how things played out during the third reunion special of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."

Walter Jackson, for reasons I can't ascertain, was not invited to defend himself on the show after saying he had been "hired" by Kenya to play her boyfriend. (He told this to Frank Ski on V-103 in December.) Kenya, of course, denied this.

"I would not waste my time pretending to be in a relationship when I have a worldwide stage to find me a man,' she declared.

Not a single person in the room at the Biltmore believed her. And when the men started going after her (including  host Andy Cohen ) for accusing Walter of being gay, she again denied she was going negative. "I didn't accuse him of being gay," she said disingenuously. "I have questions about his sexuality." (Is there a difference?) She then modified her rationalization, saying she was merely telling the truth in a "pre-emptive" strike against him, or something absurd like that.

They dated a couple of years ago, which Walter acknowledged in his Ski interview. But she said they never had sex. Ever. "You wanted to get married before you tested the goods?" exclaimed Kandi.

Kenya said she was nice to Walter and "he was an a**hole to me. He's dead to me." She later claimed he's "a groupie. And he wants fame."

As Peter, Cynthia Bailey's husband, went after Kenya for blasting their friend Walter, she started singing her song "Gone With the Wind Fabulous." It's all about branding, honey!

She wouldn't talk about her current boyfriend but said she's happy.

Then the show got to the point that was promoted in the trailers: what did Apollo, Phaedra's hubby, text Kenya?

"I don't care much for you," he said to her.

"Maybe you should stop texting me," she said.

"Since we left Anguilla, you've been trying to get at me," Apollo shot back.

"You are so crazy," Kenya said.

She showed some of the texts to Andy, who said they didn't look like sexting. It was more Kenya flirting with Apollo.

"That's why I called her a whore," Phaedra said.

In other storylines:

- Porsha Stewart's husband Kordell, who filed for divorce a few days after the taping of the reunion, did not show up. Porsha said he had to meet with his boss at 92.9/The Game. Was his absence a harbinger for what was about to happen?

Sadly, she strongly defended her husband in a way that makes it clear she was blindsided by his divorce filing."My husband loves me to the core," she said. "I love him so much." She felt the ladies were judgmental and didn't support her by calling him controlling, especially when she refused to go to a strip club with the ladies in Vegas.

She then went on a passionate, tearful speech defending herself and Kordell. She said she admired the other women. She wants what they have.

"My life is beautiful. I don't work. I live well. My husband provides for me. But I want more for myself and for my family. This is new to me. I'm here. I'm ready to be real with you guys if you're real with me."

Cynthia and Nene told her that they all went through first-season blues. It's a tough adjustment to be on a reality show, for sure. Kandi apologized for being judgmental about their marriage.

She then sang a snippet of "Amazing Grace," proving that, yes, she can sing.

- Kandi Burruss is happy with Todd Tucker, the man she met on the show in South Africa in 2011 while he was working with the production company creating the show.  They are now engaged to get married. Not that this stopped Kandi from thinking Nene threw "shade" on her ring for not being that impressive, deeming that as 'shallow." NeNe just gave her a dirty look.  Kandi also defended the fact she can mix sex toys and God, as well as "shacking up" once she and Todd were together. Todd artfully acknowledged he didn't really want to be on the show but was there to "support my lady."

- Most noted how much better the show was this season minus Kim Zolciak. Only Phaedra, burned by Kenya, wasn't terribly happy. NeNe said it was her favorite season to date. It helped that she was peripheral to the main storylines while she spent time in LaLa land. When Andy noted that she was the last original cast member, NeNe looked wistful and said, "'I got more than I ever thought I  would."

So far, we don't know who's coming back next year but odds are good all six will return.

QUOTES

"Flirting with someone does not a whore make," - Kenya.

"When you said you cannot turn a whore into a housewife, that's the most disgusting thing to ever come out of anybody's mouth. I never called you a whore." - Kenya, to Phaedra.

"I'm not the one who had sex with a convicted felon fresh out of prison, then got pregnant and lied about when you got pregnant." - Kenya, being all sweet and nice to Phaedra.

RATINGS

Ratings last week continued to be strong for RHOA. The second reunion show pulled in 3.52 million viewers and a 1.8 rating among 18-49, slightly down from a week earlier but way up from a year ago's comparable episode, which drew 2.54 million. The season is guaranteed to be the most popular ever in RHOA's history. In fact, it will go down as the best rated show in the franchise's history.
