Bye, bye, Katy Perry and Rihanna. Hello, Lady Antebellum and Jason Aldean!

Jeff Miles, whose recent foray as mid-day host at Atlanta top 40 station Q100 was brief, quickly landed on his feet, nabbing mornings at a country station in San Antonio.

He worked for Q100 in its early years, departed for several years including a long stop in New York, then returned last year.

Miles left three weeks ago from Q100 without explanation after just a year.

He got the job at Y100 in San Antonio so quickly that it's clear his departure from Q100 was not sudden or surprising.

Miles in an email confirmed he had been looking into the Y100 job for several weeks. He's not sure if his Q100 contract not being renewed was tied to his job hunt or not. Then again, he said he wasn't a big fan of management of Cumulus (which owns Q100) though he loves Bert Weiss and the morning show.

He is coming home, in a sense. He was born and raised in Waco and worked in radio in Dallas, too.
