Atlanta-based TNT has nabbed two major stars for two of its TV series:

- Heather Locklear will amp up the power on the third season "Franklin & Bash" as  “a stunning trial lawyer, with stiletto heels and clothes tailored within an inch of their life," the press release said. She will be a series regular. She energized both "Melrose Place" and "Spin City." This show starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer returns this summer.

- TNT has also named another stunning actress with both film and TV cred: Geena Davis, who is very picky about what type of work she does. She will star in a pilot based on a real-life female bounty hunter.  The Oscar-winning actress ("League of Their Own," "Accidental Tourist") starred in a series about a female president "Commander in Chief" on ABC in 2005. I spoke with her last year about her role in the A&E miniseries "Coma."

Interestingly, Dean Devlin, who created the just cancelled "Leverage" for TNT, will helm the project.
