So far, over 12 episodes of "Real Housewives of Atlanta," Kenya Moore has shown herself to be an overly sensitive, overly fragile, desperate person who covers her vulnerability with a thin layer of pancake makeup called false bravado. She seems to be living on her laurels of having been Miss USA and aggrandizes whatever success she's had in Hollywood. In public appearances, she even waves in that stiffy, annoying pagaent way.

Then again, Kenya could merely be shaping a memorable reality show character who deliberately sows "drama" for attention and hopefully, a bigger second season paycheck.

Either way, she is now the glue that's keeping the show together, with season one stars Kim Zolciak out and NeNe Leakes reduced to a minor B-level character.

The newest storyline - now that Kenya's personal life is in shambles (bye Walter!) - is the tension between Kenya and Phaedra Parks. Last week, Kenya was insulted that Phaedra refused to give her royalties for finding a distribution deal for Phaedra's donkey booty exercise video.

Rather than just move on, Kenya plans to make her own "stallion booty" video and brags about it to Cynthia Bailey. Kenya's rationale: she already has a distribution deal so why not fill it herself? To her, a stallion is more powerful and graceful than a donkey (even if it is a male horse.) "They're sleek and strong and beautiful," Kenya says. Donkey's a weak.

She is unwilling to admit to Kandi that she's doing this as pure petty revenge. At best, she acknowledges that Phaedra had "hurt my feelings." And she justifies her move by telling Phaedra there are millions of exercise videos out there and "let the marketplace decide."

The other women start taking sides. Kandi supports Phaedra, thinking Kenya is doing this merely to get back at Phaedrda. ("You're straight coming for her!" she told Kenya.) Cynthia is now more friendly with Kenya now that they've resolved their issues and simply thinks Kenya has the right to do it and it's a better idea. NeNe also thinks the "donkey booty" idea is lame. Porsha is thrilled to see Phaedra is now coming to her side because from early on, she deemed Kenya a big, arrogant fake.

"Copy cat!" Apollo says to Kenya.

"I'll be copy-catting all the way to the bank," Kenya responded, before twirling her way out of the room.

Kandi says she didn't want to get in the middle of this drama but as soon as Derek J told her about the video betrayal, she calls Phaedra about it. "I don't want to get in the middle of your stuff," she later tells Phaedra before getting into her stuff.

And Phaedra may be the one laughing all the way to the bannk because she worked a deal with one of the biggest directors of exercise videos Darren Capik, who has worked with the queen of exercise videos Jane Fonda. (And Phaedra is friends with former Atlantan Jane.) You can buy Phaedra and Apollo's video "Phine Body" on Amazon.  It came out last month. Here's the description for $12.95:

PHINE BODY by Phaedra and Apollo is a comprehensive workout routine that features a mix of aerobic dance elements, cardio training, strength training, core toning, and upbeat music. The workout begins with a high-energy cardio routine and fun dance moves, followed by toning core, body sculpting exercises and a stretch-based cool down. Phaedra and Apollo hope to encourage people of all ages, shapes and sizes to stay active and eat healthy.

No sign of Kenya's video yet in the marketplace.

QUOTES

"It's a Six Flags Scream Machine with all the bumps everywhere!" - Phaedra, insulting Kenya's booty.

"You're really surprised Kenya turned on you?" - Porsha, who has clashed with Kenya previously and is now clashing with Phaedra

"Kenya drinks like a fish and acts like the fool. That's indicative of a problem. She may have a chemical imbalance. That's the way bi-polar people act." - Phaedra, insulting Kenya's basic state of mind, later calling Kenya a "bootlegger."

TRAILER

Cynthia wants to start working in pagaents. Kenya is upset that Phaedra is bad-mouthing her behind her back. Then Kenya shows up at a party to mock, presumably, Phaedra, to her face.

RATINGS

Last week, the 11th episode drew 3.4 million viewers, down slightly from a season high 3.7 million a week earlier, but still well above the season average to date, which is about 3 million. It's slightly behind last year's pacing but very close.
