Doing nutty things simply to keep the show focused on her
Medically bi-polar, as Dr. Phaedra Parks deemed
Fake as her enhanced bust
All of the above

"I'm a role model." - Kenya Moore on tonight's "Real Housewives of Atlanta."
What we viewers have learned after 13 episodes is she is a perfect role model for anyone who wants to be a larger-than-life reality-show character. She embodies insecurity, with just a whiff of desperation. She's confrontational. She's way too sensitive. She says outrageously overconfident things about herself that don't necessarily match reality. And tonight, she continues to be Queen Protagonist.
Kenya preps for an exercise video in direct response to being rejected as producer for Phaedra Parks' video. (As noted last week, Phaedra's video is out and now ranked #21 on Amazon among exercise and fitness videos. And the average rating among 51 users is four stars out of five. All of Kenya's drama has surely fueled sales so Phaedra should send her a check. Kandi Burruss should also encourage Kenya copy her sex toy line just for the extra sales.)
Kenya decides to go on an offensive to try to turn the girls against Phaedra because Phaedra is bad-mouthing her. Phaedra has said she thinks Kenya is bi-polar and an alcoholic to boot. And a little loco, too.
First, Kenya tries to get Porsha, of all people, on her side. Really? Porsha never felt she received a sincere apology from Kenya's poor behavior at Porsha's fundraiser and in Anguilla, both earlier this season. Why did Porsha even show up? Probably curiosity. Or the producers' urging. Besides, what else does Porsha have to do?
"I know we got off to a bad start. But this whole situation with Phaedra is getting out of control and gotten ugly," Kenya says, as a way to explain why she wants Porsha's ear.
"All the things she's saying about me is not true," she adds.
Porsha says she doesn't allow Phaedra's comments to affect her already lowly opinion of Kenya. Kenya, misreading the situation as usual, says Porsha is a "pawn."
Quickly impatient, Kenya goes into "insult mode. "I try to have a grown woman conversation," she says. "I need to have a woman to be in front of me to do that."
Lunch is over before it gets started.
"One is a liar [Phaedra] and one is dumb as rocks [Porsha]," Kenya said to the cameras.
The worst insult Porsha can hurl back at Kenya is calling her "ashy."
"There's makeup for that," Kenya says.
Later, she meets with Cynthia Bailey, who claims to be in a "neutral zone" with Kenya, on a golf course. (Golf? Are they out of restaurants?) There, Cynthia readily passes along Phaedra's continued bacmouthing of Kenya at an Imperial Fez event Kenya had skipped.
"Phaedra - you have another thing coming if you want to spread rumors about me and think I'll take it lying down," she said. "Nobody is going to slander my name without some repercussions."
She then has lunch with gay buddy Miss Lawrence, who says Phaedra is known for insulting people. "Phaedra ain't friends with nobody," he/she said. Kenya said she had informed Phaedra earlier on about her childhood issues and now feels Phaedra is turning it against her. Miss Lawrence said Phaedra never reveals much about herself. He said he heard through the grapevine that Phaedra insulted him and the fact he dresses like women.
Kenya comes up with a retort for the cameras: "I'm not saying Phaedra looks manly but she shouldn't be criticizing men in heels."
To cap the hour, Kenya, wanting to mock Phaedra in a public setting, attends NeNe Leakes' Shoedazzle charity event dressed like Phaedra.
She dons a big Southern belle floppy Easter hat and a swimsuit-type outfit that evokes what Phaedra wore in Aguila that showed off her donkey booty. She also puts on butt pads, which accentuates the absurdity of the look.
Kenya clearly wants to make a point, regardless of how inappropriate or pointless it is. She even asks for a drink and mocks the idea she is an alcoholic.
'People call you crazy, you gotta give them crazy," Kenya reasons.
Kenya tells Phaedra: "You know good and well I don't have a f**in' problem. Shame on you. Shame on you. Don't make fun of people."[What the...? You say this while you're making fun of Phaedra?"]
"So you think I'm going to come to you and take a knife and stab you in the neck?" Kenya concludes.
Um... maybe?
Eventually, Kenya tells Phaedra how she really feels about Phaedra's video idea: "I don't think you should be doing a workout video because your body is not there."
"I wouldn't say that because it's hurtful," she says, after saying that. "Certain things you don't say. I'm going to leave it at that."
Other storylines:
-Cynthia Bailey wants to break into pageants by holding one herself in early September. She works with a cinsultant who knows a lot about pageants. Porsha's non-profit is a sponsor. They check out the Georgia International Convention Center. It's too big. Porsha volunteers to sing though that's not what Cynthia really wants her to do.
-As usual, Porsha has no real story line but she is willing to volunteer wtih Cynthia's pageant because, as Cynthia notes, she has no job. Plus, she claims she's a good singer. The other women at Imperial Fez try to get her to sing. She is all nervous about it, once placed on the spot. She starts to, then the belly-dancing music starts. So we don't really know for sure if she can sing.
- Kandi Burruss has no real storyline this week, reduced to observer. "Why keep going to lunch with the same person you keep arguing with?" she said at one point about Porsha meeting with Kenya.
- NeNe shops for new furniture and accessories with ex-hubby Gregg in Los Angeles. She meets her acting coach Lee who helped her for both her "Glee" and "New Normal" roles and gets advice.
QUOTES
"I even know Tyler Perry -just a little bit." - Phaedra, noting how connected she is
"The day Kenya Moore shows me up is the day this booty goes flat as a pancake." - Phaedra
"I would describe my singing voice as Mary J. Blige and Beyonce mixed in with Rihanna." - Porsha
"Everyone in Atlanta thinks they're a singer... It's not true." - Kandi
TRAILER
Kandi now wants to do a gospel record. Cynthia feels Porsha isn't doing what she wants to do for her pageant. Porsha complains to her husband Kordell, who says she has to "check that." Walter Jackson, Kenya's "ex," pops up again.
RATINGS
A year ago, season 4 ratings started to slip off sharply when it hit episode 12. This season, the show peaked at 3.72 million viewers episode 10, fell to 3.4 million episode 11 and 3.25 million last week for episode 12. That's still above the season average. Episode 12 last year dropped to a season-low 2.35 million. So RHOA is now ahead of its ratings season four season to date for the first time this year.
