TV best bets with the returns of "Army Wives" and "The Client List"

Jennifer Love Hewitt has gone from being "The Ghost Whisperer" to a masseuse who provides happy endings on "The Client List" on Lifetime.

As the broadcast networks - especially ABC and NBC - struggle to garner any sizable audiences for any of their shows, cable networks are plugging away with hits such as "The Walking Dead" and "Duck Dynasty."

Lifetime's two biggest shows "Army Wives" and "The Client List" debut back to back on the crowded Sunday night slate.

Otherwise, it's a pretty quiet week, save for THREE nights of "American Idol," the incredibly shrinking show.

And for folks tracking local shows, "Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta" comes back for a fifth season Friday.

MONDAY

“The Bachelor” 8 p.m. ABC — The women confront Sean and each other.

“The Biggest Loser” 8 p.m. NBC — The contestants receive makeovers with help from Tim Gunn.

“Bones” 8 p.m. Fox — The remains of an immigrant from Sierra Leone are discovered in a barrel at a disposal facility for hazardous waste.

“Dallas” 9 p.m. TNT — Bobby and his brother retaliate in the wake of a takeover of Ewing Energies.

“The Following” 9 p.m. Fox — Carroll makes a convincing case that he should be moved to another facility.

“Monday Mornings” 10 p.m. TNT — The cognitive abilities of Hooten's mentor are questioned after he arrives at the wrong procedure on the wrong day.

TUESDAY

“American Idol” 8 p.m. Fox (special night) — First 10 of 20 semifinalists perform live.

“Celebrity Wife Swap” 9 p.m. ABC — In a 1990s flashback, Mark McGrath wife swaps with Coolio's.

“NCIS” 8 p.m. CBS — Gibbs' barber wonders if his son is involved in a crime.

“NCIS: Los Angeles” 9 p.m. CBS — Sam's wife is called to resume her former CIA cover.

“Body of Proof” 10 p.m. ABC — A murder appears to be the result of child abuse.

“Cougar Town” 10 p.m. TBS — Grayson and Bobby teach Travis how to be a ladies' man.

“Golden Boy” 10 p.m. CBS — A thief tries to stay out of jail by giving info to Clark about a crime.

“Justified” 10 p.m. FX — Boyd realizes he has unfinished business to resolve.

“White Collar” 10 p.m. USA (fourth season finale)— The guys try to retrieve an evidence box from the Empire State Building.

“Smash” 10:01 p.m. NBC —  Karen has doubts about Jimmy.

WEDNESDAY

“American Idol” 8 p.m. Fox — The second set of 10 semifinalists perform.

“Survivor” 8 p.m. CBS — One castaway has a medical emergency.

“Feed the Beast” 9 p.m. Travel (new series) — Mikey Roe checks out late-night eateries all over the nation.

"The Rachel Zoe Project” 9 p.m. Bravo (fifth season debut) — Rachel gears up for the premiere of her spring line.

“The Americans” 10 p.m. FX — Stan's mole is at risk of discovery as the KGB scour their ranks for a double agent.

“Duck Dynasty” 10 p.m. A&E — The guys help John Luke through a breakup.

“Psych” 10 p.m. USA — Juliet goes undercover on a dating site.

“Southland” 10 p.m. TNT — Lydia pursues a killer who cooked a victim.

THURSDAY

“American Idol” 8 p.m. Fox — The final 10 are announced.

“The Big Bang Theory” 8 p.m. CBS — Raj readies for a date with Lucy.

“Two and a Half Men” 8:30 p.m. CBS — Alan moves in with Herb after he has a fight with Walden.

“Project Runway” 9 p.m. Lifetime — The designers create prom dresses from duct tape.

“Battleground” 9 p.m. Animal Planet (miniseries debut)— A three-part miniseries about U.S. special forces fighting rhino poachers in South Africa.

“Person of Interest” 9:01 p.m. CBS — The Machine produces six numbers at once.

“Glee” 9:30 p.m. Fox (special time) — The cast's performance of "Shout" marks the show's 500th musical number.

“Archer” 10 p.m. FX — FX has renewed this Atlanta-created animated series for a fifth season.

“King of Nerds” 10 p.m. TBS (first season finale) — TBS has given this reality show a second season.

FRIDAY

“Fashion Star” 8 p.m. NBC (second season debut) — Jessica Simpson and Nicole Richie are back to find the next great designer.

“Kitchen Nightmares” 8 p.m. Fox — Gordon Ramsay works over the Mill Street Bistro Bar in Ohio.

“Last Man Standing” 8 p.m. ABC — Mike gets Eve a private soccer coach.

“Undercover Boss” 8 p.m. CBS — The CEO of Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows ski resort works undercover.

“Golden Boy” 9 p.m. CBS —Clark and Owen investigate the murder of a gang member at a housing development.

“Grimm” 9 p.m. NBC — Nick is called to investigate his own crime.

“Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta” 9 p.m. TLC (fifth season debut) — ABC News correspondent Linsey Davis needs help.

“Shark Tank” 9 p.m. ABC — A former rodeo talks up his workout program.

“Blue Bloods” 10 p.m. CBS — Danny pursues a pair of "Bonnie and Clyde" bank robbers.

“Restless Virgins” 8 tonight Lifetime — Based on a true story, a school newspaper editor releases a sex tape made by members of a lacrosse team.

“Saturday Night Live” 11:29 tonight NBC — Justin Timberlake is back to host and perform.

“Once Upon a Time” 8 p.m. Sunday ABC — Rumplestiltskin helps a young Cora.

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” 8 p.m. Sunday Bravo — The women hit Las Vegas.

“The Bible” 8 p.m. Sunday History — Stories covered include David vs. Golitah and David's son Solomon.

“The Apprentice” 9 p.m. Sunday NBC — Bret Michaels is clearly regretting his decision to place Omarosa on his team.

“Army Wives” 9 p.m. Sunday Lifetime (seventh season debut) — Fort Marshall soldiers mourn the loss of one of their own.

“Girls” 9 p.m. Sunday HBO — Adam and his new girlfriend have a misunderstanding.
