NeNe Leakes is spending more time nowadays in Hollywood than Altanta.

It's a slow news day, even for TMZ, which reported that "Real Housewives of Atlanta" cast member and "New Normal" actress NeNe Leakes called the cops because she had locked herself out of her vehicle in Beverly Hills and her dog was in the car. A locksmith probably could have done the trick, too, since it was cold in Beverly Hills and the pooch, named Playa, was in no real danger.

Jake Tapper, one of Jeff Zucker's first hires at CNN, will be getting his own hour-long show at 4 p.m. called "The Lead With Jake Tapper" starting March 18. He had previously worked as an ABC White House correspondent. Wolf Blitzer's "The Situation Room" will then air from 5 to 7 p.m., going back to two hours.

Pandora has changed its mind on unlimited free listening, reinstating its 40 hour monthly limit for those who use the service on smartphones or tablets. The penalty is modest, though. They could pay 99 cents to listen more the rest of the month. Or they can just pay $3.99 a month (or $36 a year) for unlimited ad-free listening.  The 40-hour limit was first lifted in 2011. Founder Tim Westergren blamed rising royalty rates, which he says have gone up 25 percent the past three years and will continue to rise in the near future. He noted only 4 percent of active listeners exceed 40 hours a month and the average listener logs in 20 hours a month. Efforts to reduce royalty rates have not come to any legislative fruition.

Former 99X and Dave FM jock Yvonne Monet has snagged a new job outside of radio: the new Director of Tennis at Newnan Country Club.

According to TVLine, Ben McKenzie signed on to a CBS pilot, a bad sign for the future of Atlanta-based TNT's "Southland," which is not performing well in its fifth season.

Not sure how much to take rumors that Sirius/XM radio host  Howard Stern might take Jimmy Fallon's late night spot if or when Fallon bumps Jay Leno on NBC.
