It's a slow news day, even for TMZ, which reported that "Real Housewives of Atlanta" cast member and "New Normal" actress NeNe Leakes called the cops because she had locked herself out of her vehicle in Beverly Hills and her dog was in the car. Pandora has changed its mind on unlimited free listening, reinstating its 40 hour monthly limit for those who use the service on smartphones or tablets. The penalty is modest, though. They could pay 99 cents to listen more the rest of the month. Or they can just pay $3.99 a month (or $36 a year) for unlimited ad-free listening. The 40-hour limit was first lifted in 2011. Founder Tim Westergren blamed rising royalty rates, which he says have gone up 25 percent the past three years and will continue to rise in the near future. He noted only 4 percent of active listeners exceed 40 hours a month and the average listener logs in 20 hours a month. Efforts to reduce royalty rates have not come to any legislative fruition.
