We are finally getting a first look at Tyler Perry and Kerry Washington’s latest project “Six Triple Eight.”
You know when icons like Perry and Washington link up, we are all in for a treat! The movie tells the historic story of the only all-black, all-female World War II Battalion. Here’s the official description:
The movie, which is currently filming, has assembled an all-star cast to tell this incredible story: Kerry Washington, Ebony Obsidian, Milauna Jackson, Kylie Jefferson, Shanice Shantay, Sarah Jeffery, Pepi Sonuga, Jay Reeves, Jeanté Godlock, Moriah Brown, Baadja-Lyne Odums, Gregg Sulkin, Dean Norris, Scott Daniel Johnson, Sam Waterston, Susan Sarandon and Oprah Winfrey.
Looks like the Perry/Netflix partnership is producing major hits!
