Is your January fitness motivation fading? Don’t be concerned; you’re not alone! You’re also not out of options.

While the typical gym may keep some fitness enthusiasts motivated, others might need to switch things up to take their fitness journey to the next level. Luckily, Access Atlanta readers helped us find the best indoor and outdoor workout options for our annual Best of Atlanta awards.

More than 10,000 Atlantans voted in our Best of Atlanta 2022 awards. This fall, we’ll open voting for the 2023 awards and announce the results at the beginning of 2024. Make sure to watch vote.accessatlanta.com to nominate your new favorites!

You can find all 250 winners and 500 finalists across all 250 categories at bestof.accessatlanta.com. In addition to the winner, there are two finalists in each category that you can find in the Best of Atlanta directory. Between the 2022 winners and finalists, you’ll have plenty of choices to keep your fitness journey on track this year.

Before hopping into your next workout, make sure you have all the gear you need. Visit Dick’s, which was voted Best Sporting Goods Store in Atlanta, or either of the finalists, REI or Hibbett Sports are excellent options as well.

We may still be dealing with some rain and low temperatures, but it’ll be getting warm soon. Why not grab your bike and take advantage of all the beautiful days ahead at one of our many bike trails? In fact, visit our readers’ top three bike trails: Shoot the Hooch, The BeltLine, or Silver Comet, which is ranked Best Bike Trail in Atlanta. In need of a bike? Stop by Peachtree Bikes, voted Best Bicycle Shop. They will hook you up with the perfect ride.

If you want to get your nature fix while getting in a good workout, you can always visit Amicalola falls, which was voted Best Hiking Trail by our readers. There are also a few other trails that you can check out under our Best of Atlanta Best Hiking Trail category. Not to mention, there are several outdoor spots to get fresh air while you build up a sweat, like Tallulah Gorge.

Parks are also a great, free resource for getting a workout in! Piedmont Park was voted Best Public Park in Atlanta. The park is huge, so you’ll have plenty of room to move around. You can also check out Grant Park or Chastain Park, which were both finalists in the category.

Why not spice things up and burn calories while tearing up the dance floor? A fun way to get a workout in without even knowing it is by dancing! You can make your way to Dance 101, the Best Dance Studio voted on by Access Atlanta readers.

If you’ve got two left feet and would rather stay off the dance floor, you can always slow things down with a zen yoga class. Try out Mystic Yoga Studio, which was voted Best Yoga Studio. Yonder Yoga and Form Yoga were both finalists in the category, so you can’t go wrong with either.

Looking for a more personal touch? A personal trainer might be more your speed. If you want to take the recommendations of your fellow Access Atlanta readers, you’ll want to book with Jose Mendoza. Feel free to check out the finalists for Best Personal Trainers as well.

There are tons of options for spicing up your workout and I hope these recommendations come in handy!

Be sure to browse all 250 categories in our Best of Atlanta awards for all of your needs. Readers voted on everything from Best in Home and Garden, to Best Food and everything in between.
