As Atlanta’s vibrant food scene flourishes, don’t forget about the amazing food trucks taking the city by storm. With more than 200 food trucks featuring a variety of cuisines with creative dishes, you’ll be sure to find one you love.

Some of these mobile eateries have permanent locations and others you can find rolling to different spots around town. Check out some of the 10 must-try local food trucks (in no particular order) that we’ve gathered below! We promise they are “wheel”-y good.

Cafe Bourbon St.

This family-owned real New Orleans-style food truck serves up some delicious Cajun flavors. From a classic shrimp po’ boy to Jambalaya egg rolls or Bourbon ranch fries and even chicken & beignets (served on Sundays only), you will love it all! P.S. They also sell hoodies and joggers for those colder Atlanta months.

Atlanta Pizza Truck

Where “ATL meets Naples,” master pizzaiolo and Italian native, Alessio Lacco and his partner Sofia, bring classic (and delicious) Neapolitan pizza to Atlanta. With their wood-burning pizza oven attached to a traditional blue Italian Piaggio ApeCar, it is truly an authentic and unforgettable Italian experience. The Hoagie Shack Food Truck

The Hoagie Shack serves up “food that makes you dance”! Family-owned and operated, they offer some of their delicious Hotlanta Heauxgies that includes their Big Poppa hoagie, Swat Chicken hoagie, Fried Fish hoagie, and their Veggie Veg hoagie. After you finish your hoagie, top off your meal with their Trap Treats like Glam-Ma Nana Puddin or Georgia peach cobbler. Catch ‘em wherever they’re rolling through next!

The Queso Truck

Chips and queso, anyone? Yes, please. This truck has been rolling around ATL for the last 3 years and now even has a permanent location in Toco Hills. Along with their queso, The Queso Truck serves quesadillas, tacos, loaded tots or nachos, and homemade churros. As they say themselves, “the best things in life are cheese.”

The Blaxican

The Blaxican food truck has “la comida for your soul” creating unique Mexican soul-food for local Atlantans. Started back in 2010, they serve unique creations like the one and only unique collard greens quesadilla, shrimp & grits tostadas, mexy mac and cheese, bbq sweet fires and more. Try out “The Blasian” which is a grilled marinated salmon taco topped with Blaxican Asian Glaze, diced tomatoes, arugula, and feta cheese. Yum!

Craving Japanese food? You’ll have to catch The Bento Bus at their next stop around Atlanta. This food truck serves fresh and healthy, Japanese-inspired fusion cuisine making it a local fan favorite. Some menu items include their Asian BBQ Steak Bowl, Marinated Tofu Tacos, Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl and Shrimp Dumplings. If you’re feeling nachos, be sure to try their unique Tofu Nachos with deep-fried wonton chips, covered in pan-fried marinated tofu, corn, pico, chopped lettuce, queso and their signature sauce to top off the perfect dish.

Sunshine Alchemy

Known as “Atlanta’s vegan-ish and conscious cocktails & creations truck,” Sunshine Alchemy’s owner, Jasmine Beck, strives to bring plant-based drink and food creations to locals around town. Their menu includes Impossible burgers, Sunshine Spiced Tater Tots (vegan), sweet potato fries (vegan and gluten-free), pineapple limeade, and vegan s’mores rice crispy treats for dessert. Tex’s Tacos

Tex’s Tacos provides Tex-Mex with a Southern twist offering tacos like Chicken Fresca, Pastor de Puerco, Carne Asada, Pulled Pork BBQ, and Veggie.
