A PH’EAST for your senses: The Battery Atlanta’s East Asian food hall
Food halls have taken Atlanta by storm, and now there’s one at The Battery Atlanta dedicated solely to East Asian cuisine. From ramen, poke and pad thai to bubble tea and Japanese whiskey, PH’EAST opened its doors in 2020 and offers a little bit of East Asia in Cobb County. Next time you’re catching that Braves game or simply want a multitude of fast-casual East Asian options for a quick bite to eat, feast your eyes (and stomach) on the following dining options at PH’EAST.
26 Thai Kitchen
Founded by Niki Pattharakositkul, 26 Thai Kitchen is one of Atlanta’s most beloved Thai restaurants serving fresh, delicious and authentic Thai cuisine with love. While you can experience the full-service options in Midtown, Buckhead, Brookhaven and Perimeter, you can also get a taste of 26 Thai at The Battery with a limited menu option that serves some of the most iconic Thai dishes, such as Pad Thai, Pad See Ewe and Massaman Curry. And if you’re a fan of spicy food, 26 Thai doesn’t skimp on turning up the heat!
Fan T’Asia
If you’re a fan of BoBo Garden in Doraville, you’ll find Fan T’Asia slightly familiar – they’re the same owners/chefs Muling Zhao and Man Fai Yan. Enjoy classic Chinese-American fares, such as house Lo Mein, General Tso’s Chicken, Sesame Chicken and Orange Chicken as well as other dishes including pepper steak, Ma Po Tofu, roast duck and fried dumplings.
Lifting Noodles Ramen
Lift your spirits (and noodles) at Lifting Noodles Ramen. Founded by Seven Chan and Ken Yu, Lifting Noodles Ramen has made a name for itself in the Atlanta area as one of Atlanta’s most popular ramen shops. With multiple locations around the city, including The Battery and East Atlanta Village, Lifting Noodles Ramen offers ramen bowls such as the Village Classic, Angry Zuko, Seafood Ramen and Spicy Tantan. If you’re not feeling up for ramen, they also offer dumplings, spring rolls and a variety of greens and salads.
Poke Burri
If you’re craving sushi or poke but also craving a burrito, you’ve come to the right place at Poke Burri. This highly rated and highly awarded fusion restaurant was started by Seven Chan and Ken Yu in East Atlanta Village and has spread across multiple cities in the United States. Poke Burri is known for its unique menu options, such as its sushi burritos and sushi donuts, as well as its eccentric secret menu. You’ll just have to experience Poke Burri for yourself and let your taste buds run wild!
Kung Fu Tea
This beloved bubble tea outpost can be found around the world, including in Taiwan, Cambodia and Japan as well as multiple locations across the United States and Canada. Inspired by the essence of kung fu, which seeks self-improvement, Kung Fu Tea continuously works to provide an endless array of bubble tea options, including classic teas, milk teas, slushes, yogurts and more.
Taps@PH’EAST
If you’re looking for a quick spot to grab a beverage before the next baseball game, PH’EAST has a special bar called Taps@PH’EAST that complements its East Asian food vendors. Choose from a selection of spirits including sake, Japanese whiskey, imported East Asian beers and more.
