Free ticket giveaway: ‘A Symphonic Celebration of Prince’ with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra

[Congrats to randomly selected winner Steve G. and thanks to all who participated!]

Prince fans who still miss the music of the master will have an opportunity to hear it presented in a unique form at “4U: A Symphonic Celebration of Prince.”

The show – the first and only estate-approved Prince celebration – is curated, produced and directed by The Roots’ drummer Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, a noted Prince fan and scholar. Questlove will not perform at the show, but a band selected by the longtime musician will play from Prince’s catalog alongside the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

“4U” plays Verizon Amphitheatre at 8 p.m. Saturday. If you’d like to buy tickets, they are $29-$99. But thanks to our friends at the Woodruff Arts Center, I also have a pair to give away.

To enter, zip me an email at mruggieri@ajc.com by noon Thursday, Sept. 13.

Please be sure to put “Prince symphony” in the subject line or I will not see your email and therefore, you will have zero opportunity to win.

Please do not enter if you cannot attend (once again, it’s 8 p.m. Saturday), and please, only one email per address.

I will randomly select a winner Thursday afternoon and contact him/her directly, as well as post the name here. Make sure to check your email, as I will need confirmation by Thursday evening.

While this isn’t a requirement, I would really appreciate a follow on Twitter  or  Facebook .

Good luck!
