Single malts, Johnny Cash and a killer unicorn: things to do in Atlanta on Thursday, July 19

Your Thursday will probably include humidity, if not thunderstorms.

Here are a few ways to stay crisp.

RING OF FIRE: THE MUSIC OF JOHNNY CASH, AT THE GEORGIA ENSEMBLE THEATRE

Warm your soul with the classics. The music of the late great Man in Black will echo off the river when the Georgia Ensemble Theatre performs “Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash” at the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell.

The music of Johnny Cash comes to Roswell this month. In this historic photo, the man himself performs in 1997 at the Majestic Theatre in downtown Dallas. PHOTO: MICHAEL AINSWORTH/DALLAS MORNING NEWS (The Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
