Zoo Atlanta plans wildly entertaining events for adults

You're in luck. Zoo Atlanta isn't just for children and their parents. This summer the 128-year old attraction is welcoming adults and inviting the kids to stay at home for a series of wildly entertaining events.

Brew at the Zoo

If you're more into beer than cocktails, plan on attending Brew at the Zoo on May 27 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. The adults-only evening infuses beer, some wine, and bands into your regular zoo experience.

More than 70 beers and wines will be available for sampling, including some of your local local favorites. Which ones? Only one way to find out!

Musicians will appear on seven stages. The Geeks, an Atlanta-based band will headline. They are a superfun cover band, sure to play stuff you like. Also appearing will be 8 Second Ride, RTW, Dreggae, and Mountain Top Polka Band. Also DJ Deliver will bring it.

General admission tickets for the event are $45 for Zoo Atlanta members and $50 for not-yet members. Guests are invited to indulge by purchasing VIP tickets which includes an exclusive pre-party, access to a VIP-only lounge, private restrooms and a Brew at the Zoo t-shirt for $100.

Sippin’ Safari

Sat., Sept. 23, 5:30-9:30 p.m. This event is described as “Atlanta’s wildest wine cellar.” You’ll have to wait to find out more, but go ahead and put it on your calendar.

Wild Encounters

If you choose to visit Zoo Atlanta during their regular business hours, you'll want to see what Wild Encounters experiences are available. Guests can upgrade their admission tickets to include experiences such as feeding an elephant, having a behind the scenes encounter with a panda and feeding the lemurs.

Wild Encounters experiences are offered at various times throughout the week and must be booked in advance. Cost varies by experience and age and other restrictions apply.

Whether you go while celebrating a birthday, enjoying a date night, trying something new with friends, a day or night at Zoo Atlanta gives you an evening of fun you won't soon forget.
