Summer’s in the home stretch, and there are still plenty of outdoor events for you to enjoy, from concerts and movies to baseball games and beer tastings. Or beat the heat with some of the same events indoors. With beer. And air-conditioning. Totally your choice.

Monday, August 3 - 20th Anniversary of Canoe
11:30 a.m. at Canoe. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Atlanta's quintessential restaurant on the bank of the Chattahoochee, Chef Matthew Basford has developed a special "Dish Revival" menu. The menu will rotate each week and feature a retired appetizer and entrée. This week's features includes an appetizer of pistachio seared goat cheese, spinach, frisee, olive oil and rosemary dressing and an entrée of grilled maple leaf farms duck breast, foie gras and romaine crepe with blackberry compote.

Tuesday, August 4 - Chicago, Earth, Wind & Fire: Heart and Soul Tour 2015
7:30 p.m. at Aaron’s Amphitheatre at Lakewood. The classic rock bands take the stage at Lakewood as part of their summer tour. Tickets start at $30 and VIP ticket packages are available.

Wednesday, August 5 - National Oyster Day
5:00 p.m. at Kimball House. In honor of National Oyster Day, the popular Decatur bar extends it happy hour oyster deal until closing-- half off all oysters until they're gone.

Wednesday, August 5 - Friday 20th Anniversary Screening
7:00 p.m. at Plaza Atlanta Theatre. It’s Friiiiiiday. But on Wednesday. Don’t miss this special, pay-what-you-can screening of this cult classic starring Ice Cube and Chris Tucker, presented by the Atlanta Film Festival. $10 suggested donation. www.atlantafilmfestival.com

Wednesday, August 5 - Kasey Chambers
8:00 p.m. at Variety Playhouse. Australian singer-songwriter Kasey Chambers bring her haunting melodies to the Inman Park venue. The Roosevelts open. Tickets: $35 in advance and $40 day of show.

 Thursday, August 6 - Bell’s Beer Tasting
5:30 p.m. at Hop City, Krog Street Market. Bell’s Beer is offering a free sampling of its varieties at this popular intown destination. Drafts and bottles will be available for purchase. Event details here.

Thursday, August 6 - LEGOS and Local Brew
6:00 p.m at Museum of Design Atlanta. Sip local brews while demonstrating your LEGO skills. Ages 21 and up, $10 for members and $15 for non-members.. info@museumofdesign.org

 Thursday, August 7 - Billy Currington Postgame Concert
7:00 p.m at Turner Field. Stick around after the Braves take on the Marlins, as GRAMMY-nominated Georgia native Billy Currington will perform a postgame concert in anticipation of his newest album, "Summer Forever.” Tickets available from $8-$78. Event details here.

Friday, August 7 - Colbie Caillat
8:00 p.m. at Atlanta Botanical Garden. California-based pop singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat headlines this popular concert series at the gardens. Event details here.

Friday, August 8 - My Morning Jacket

Saturday, August 8 - Movie Night in Candler Park
Dusk at Candler Park. The Friends of Candler Park host a free, family movie night in the park. This week's features is The Jungle Book. Bring your blanket and picnic snacks and snag a spot early. Festivities start an hour before dusk. www.friendsofcandlerpark.org

 Saturday, August 8 - Monday Night Brewing’s 4th Anniversary
2:00 p.m. at Monday Night Brewing.The Westside purveyors of beer and necktie-themed marketing will celebrate four years with an extensive lineup of MNB beers, special casks, live bluegrass, and a special, brewery-only bottle release of its Tie 4 On Quad. $30-$35.

Sunday, August 9 - Steely Dan, Elvis Costello & The Imposters
7:00 p.m. at Chastain Park Amphitheatre. The ‘70s come to life with Steely Dan and Elvis Costello at Atlanta’s favorite venue. Tickets: $45-$125
