Healthcare professionals, teachers to get in free at Legoland

Over the next few weeks, healthcare professionals can go to Legoland Atlanta without paying an entrance fee. And soon, teachers will be able to do the same.

The Buckhead attraction is offering free admission for all hospital employees — and up to 50 percent off for up to four of their guests — to celebrate “Healthcare Professionals Appreciation Month.”

Guests must appear in person and show a medical ID. A list of eligible hospital employees can be found here.

The event runs through March 11.

Then for “Teacher Appreciation Week,” instructors will gain free admission from Feb. 25 to March 3. Full-time teachers, long-term substitute teachers and bus drivers will also get free admission for one guest, and additional guests will receive 50 percent off.

The program will let educators experience the “ultimate Lego classroom” and learn more about class  field trips. Tickets must be purchased at the door with a valid teacher ID that includes name and school.

Legoland is located in Phipps Plaza at 3500 Peachtree Road NE.
