An annual event that provides free opportunities for the public to visit historic sites in Atlanta will return in March.
The Atlanta Preservation Center created Phoenix Flies in 2003 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the rescue of the Fox Theatre.
This year’s event includes more than 175 tours, lectures and similar events organized with 99 partners, including DeKalb County’s Doll’s Head Trail, Cobb County’s Log Cabin Community Church and Fulton County’s Daily World Building. It runs from March 3 - 25.
