A Lego festival in Cobb this weekend could make you parent of the year

Cobb Galleria Centre is going to be a dangerous place to walk around barefoot this weekend.

From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, the venue will be flush with Legos and Lego-related activities.

Has your kid ever played Lego mini-golf? How about snapped a picture with real-life Lego man? Or built their own Lego derby car and raced it down a 35-foot track?

Well, they can do all that and you’ll likely be in the running for parent of the year.

If you’re serious about your Legos, there will sets for sale ranging from the new to the rare and vintage.

Tickets are $19.50 and VIP tickets (come in an hour early, come and go when you want and get a goodie bag) are going for $44.50. You can buy either online.
