So instead of confronting rush-hour traffic after work, reward yourself with a drink or bite to eat at one of nine happy hour spots in Cobb. We've sorted this list by city so you can plan an easy detour.
If food tops your priority list, give Red Sky a try. This happy hour is definitely snack-centric, from lobster mac and cheese to veggie goat cheese fritters. The space is pretty interesting, too. The restaurant manager made all the paintings on the walls.

Unless you live near Johnson Ferry, chances are you've never heard of this place. It's a little out of the way for most, but what it doesn't offer in centrality, it offers in hip, relaxed ambiance. Zeal boasts one of the prettiest interiors north of the perimeter. Its plentiful natural light and lovely patio and shuffleboard tables provide a perfect after-work escape.

If you're looking for local and charming, look no further than the WR on the Marietta Square. This gathering place has great fresh local grub and if you work around the square, a great location!. Check out the local talent while the bartender mixes a mean margarita. This is our go-to oyster spot for happy hour in Cobb.

It's no secret that Vinings is a mecca for young Atlanta socialites. Soho is a prime example, as it's one of the foodiest spots in metro Atlanta. For a different take on happy hour, head to Soho on Wednesday to taste its newest wines.

This eatery has been a favorite among Kennesaw residents since opening in 2004. With minimal frills yet still sophisticated, Capers offers Americanized renditions of Italian classics. It's a good happy hour spot if you're on the hungrier side.
