The first round of performers has been announced and the CMA Awards did not disappoint – with both recognizable legends and newcomers to the industry. In addition to co-hosting, Luke Bryan will be performing his new single “Country On.” Bryan isn’t the only Georgia native who will be hitting the stage — representing Atlanta will be the Zac Brown Band. Macon native Jason Aldean will also be performing, in addition to Glennville native Cole Swindell. Also setting the stage on fire will be Jimmie Allen, Kelly Clarkson, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, Marcus King, Morgan Wallen, Carrie Underwood, Lainey Wilson and Carly Pearce. Five-time nominee Carly Pearce is set to perform a song from her recent album “29: Written in Stone.”

As far as nominations go, first-time nominee Lainey Wilson is leading the pack with six nominations: Album of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Music Video of the Year, Musical Event of the Year and Song of the Year. Chris Stapleton, Ashley McBryde and Carly Pearce all earned five nominations each, while Cody Johnson and songwriter/producer Josh Osborne scored four nominations each.
